Description

Very sadly selling my Brera ProDrive. There were only 500 ProDrive editions made. Only 250 of these were the 2.2 model and only 50 of these were available in Alfa Touring Grey. This is a rare car. Under my ownership it has had new (correct) springs and shocks. It has been professionally under-sealed. It has been colour-corrected, deep cleaned and ceramically coated. It has four new Pirellis (less than 75 miles ago). It has just been serviced and MOT-ed (no advisories) this week. It has a Sony CarPlay head unit with microphone and a MagSafe dock (the original CD head unit comes with the car). It has a professionally installed rear-view camera to complement the rear parking sensors. It has a billeted aluminium fuel cap (again, the original comes with the car). It has black LED side indicators. The previous owner replaced the timing chain (important). It has a part stainless steel exhaust, retaining the ProDrive stainless steel rear boxes from C&C Custom Exhausts. It has factory cruise and Pelle Frau leather (spotless). It has the ProDrive certificate and brochure and the owner's manual. It is on the ProDrive Register. It is LEZ (Scotland) and ULEZ (London) free. There are minor faults - the passenger seat does not tilt forward, the oil temp gauge works intermittently and no amount of persuasion can convince the engine management system that there isn't a problem with the indicators (there isn't) as it occasionally announces that there is one. But that's it. Close to flawless. As you can tell from the thousands invested in the long-term future of this beautiful car, I was not planning on selling it, but a property purchase means I have to. It is (I think) one of the few truly beautiful affordable modern cars and I get complements frequently. It is perfectly happy charging along motorways (cruise control and a six speed box), but take it on to a Highland country road and you can instantly feel the marked difference between a standard Brera and one that's been sprinkled with ProDrive magic. The precise and responsive steering, the sure brakes and the sharp six-speed box make this one of the best-handling cars I've ever driven. I think the Touring Grey is the best colour for this car - it's like driving an Armani suit. This is the best example of this rare and beautiful car currently for sale. It took me two years and many failed visits to find this one. Do not let it get away. Next MOT due 13/11/2025, Grey, 5+ owners, £10,500
