Description
Here is my 2012 Hyundai i30 estate. I bought it initially just to get to work while my other vehicle was in the garage with the intention of selling it when it was fixed. I've ended up keeping it for 6 months as it's been so useful as a runaround. Very good on fuel and generally very cheap to run. I regularly get 55+ miles to the gallon. Very low car tax. It has MOT till September and it flew through it's last test with no advisories. The bodywork is excellent considering the age. It has a report showing that it is HPI clear and has not been classified as crash damaged. The car comes with 2 keys and It also has an Android Auto stereo system fitted. There are a few points to note which are reflected in the price: The clutch within the last week or so has started slipping. Sometimes on initial cold startup it runs a bit lumpy. It's fine once you're driving. It happens mainly when the weather is warm so I believe it's some kind of sensor somewhere. i've been told the DPF sensor can cause this issue on this model. I haven't had it plugged in as it didn't bother me. The issue disappears when you start driving. Limited service history. The previous owner inherited the car from his father who passed away. Somewhere along the line the service history has been lost. There are a few bits of paperwork showing services. Looking round the car it does seem as though it's been looked after. With a new clutch in it it's genuinely a very solid, practical little car. I'll be sad to see it go but I can't justify keeping it now that I don't need it for work. No offers on price please. Next MOT due 23/09/2025, White, 5+ owners, £1,950
