Description
Excellent condition BMW X3 3.0D (4x4) M Sport. Extremely well maintained with all service invoices accounted for, mechanically perfect and gorgeous interior. No single warning light on the dash and a fresh 12 month MOT to take you to March 2026. Comes with 2 keys and all books (the perfect condition key needs a new internal battery). Mega spec of a car in the best colour combo: Metallic Black with Sand Beige Nevada Leather interior. Paintwork is good with the standard age related scratches & marks to be expected of a 17 year old car. The 19in Y spoke alloys could benefit from a refurbish with some curbing as shown in pictures but they look excellent on the X3. I'm reluctantly selling this beast of a car because I've had to relocate to central London for work and the car isn't ULEZ compliant so will be moving onto something petrol (probably another E83 X3!). I am the 5th owner of this car with the previous owner having owned it for 10 years. Initially I bought it as a stop-gap car to do some motorway miles for a month but I ended up keeping it for 8 months as it's been a joy to own & drive. In my ownership I have given the car a full service with a 50 point health check form which will come with the car (carried out in August 2024), a 12 month fresh MOT, and it has also received a brand new alternator belt with additional pulley's so the hydraulic steering is weighty and responsive.
The good: Mechanically spot on, never misses a beat and starts the first time every time. It's also extremely economical on a run, I get around 650 miles out of a tank on motorway runs which is what most of my mileage has been. Rides superbly, there isn't a single rattle or squeak - it's an extremely well put together car. Effortless grunt from the engine, I've never towed with it but it comes with a towbar fitted and it goes very nicely. Although on recent MOT they cited that two tyres have damage on the outer side wall, this has been present for nearly the whole life of the tyres and they've all got roughly 10,000 miles of life left in them. 12,000+ miles to next service.
Things to improve/ keep in mind: The parking sensors are intermittent, the aircon could also do with a re-gas in the future, One of the clips on the rear diffuser has broken so there is a small panel gap which you can see in the picture of the rear of the car, this isn't hanging off and it is firmly secured. SatNav DVD is scratched so Apple car play would benefit the car.
