The time has come to sell my Porsche 986 Boxster. It has had 6 previous owners, has covered just over 80k miles, has a 5-speed manual box and I have owned it since April 2014. The car is finished in Guards Red and fitted with black leather seats with partial electric operation, leather adjustable steering wheel and silver handbrake lever gear knob and dials. Electric mirrors, remote central locking and factory immobiliser all work correctly. The car has 17" alloys and Porsche specification Yokohama Advan Sport tyres. The wheels are in good condition with no major scrapes along with a locking wheel nut. It is also fitted with a rear wind deflector and body coloured roll bars. The car has service history, having been serviced in May 2024 and MOT'd in July 2024. It had fitted a new 1000 Dansk sports exhaust stainless steel silencer in May 2022 which sounds and is no louder than the Porsche original. It comes with a full book pack, service invoices and all 3 keys. It has recently had 6 x new coil packs and 2 x exhaust lambda probes replaced. Unfortunately it is suffering with an intermittent engine management light which will need further investigation but I understand to be exhaust related. It has absolutely no effect on the way the car performs, no misfiring or hesitance at all. The car is in good condition for its age and mileage and drives beautifully but please be aware that it is over 20 years old and although the bodywork is straight with no rust or dents, it has stone chips around the nose and the clearcoat lacquer on the paint has issues and would benefit from some tidying. The electric hood works normally and has no cuts or damage. The interior is in good condition with the leather upholstery being undamaged and it has original Porsche carpet floor mats and Porsche rubber mats. It also has the original radio/CD player. The space saver spare wheel is unused, the tool kit is complete and there is a CD multi-changer in the front boot. I have owned the car since 2014 having inherited it from my late father. It does not have a full Porsche service history, but I do have lots of bills and receipts for the work that I have had done over the years along with other paperwork. It's only being sold as I am not doing enough miles in it due to work commitments and don't want to leave it parked on the drive all the time!
