For sale my gem of a MR2, this car has had lots of love but sadly does not get used enough hence reason for sale. This MR2 is a real head turner, lots of parts to make this truly unique and rare. Previous owner replaced the engine for a 2005 face-lift car, the engine sits on around 70k currently with no issues. (Proof supplied with paperwork) At the time the car also had a new red roof along with full red interior to make this essentially a red edition car. Lots of improvements have been made during the build process such as a new subframe, new suspension springs, engine bushes, 6 speed gearbox, sports cat, sports manifold without precat, performance air filter, JDL ducktail spoiler and repainted wheels in anthracite grey. A full log and build documentation comes with the car, it can only be described as the most documented maintenance book ever supplied with a vehicle. More recently the car has benefitted from some custom interior pieces all with carbon effect to give the car interior an uplift, also included is the elusive navpod which gives the car a modern feel. All original interior parts have been stored if the owner wishes to remove some of the additions and revert back. Original new boxed x4 sprints can also be supplied with the sale as part of a deal. Now for the bad points, this car is a preface lift chassis so general paintwork spots could do with some slight care, all points of interest have been included in the listing photos.
