Description

Widely regarded as the pinnacle generation M3, this beautiful example, last of the E46's with desirable manual gearbox really must be one of the best available at this price level. With a massive file of paperwork & comprehensive service history, it's obvious that it's been enthusiast owned, including by myself. I viewed several cars locally before travelling to Scotland to buy this. Below is brief overview of some work carried out in the past number of years. All testimony to how it's been cared for. Refurbished alloys, shod with Michelin pilot sport tyres Sympathetic restoration of the leather seats including new drivers bolster New genuine M3 brake caliper due to seizing New genuine BMW ignition switch Full inspection 2 service in May 2023 at a cost of over 1500 pounds, only driven 1500 miles since Localised re-spray including 2 new front wings, PPF was also applied to keep the paint fresh. Ceramic coated with G techniq Clutch kit Boot floor reinforcement including new bushes Vanos done M5 illuminated gearknob Re-trimmed steering wheel Service history is complete and up to date with a mixture of BMW & specialist BMW. Spec includes, Heated memory seats, Harmon Kardon , TV which still works, signal area dependent. Just had it checked over by a respected BMW independent mechanic including subframe inspection, which was all good, he commented that it's the cleanest E46 he has seen in a long time. All in, this is an original, unmodified, extremely presentable M3 with little to no blemishes anywhere, the paint work is truly immaculate & like glass. No rust on the arches, unlike a LOT of examples out there. The only negatives to mention is that there are a couple of spots where the PPF has picked up a stone chip and it's nicked a bit, no more than the size of a 5p and no sign of peeling. The 6 disc CD changer doesn't seem to work. There are no faults with the car and I'm only selling to fund the purchase of an M2. Car is located in Northern Ireland. MOT is due on May 24th 2025, however I have a booking for June 3rd and will get a cancellation asap to ensure it has a full MOT. Please, genuinely interested parties only.
