Description

Selling my beloved, well cared for Cayman 3.2s. Pretty much the best car I've ever owned, but I've had it for 8 years, and it's time for something else. The car wants for nothing mechanically. It has a full Porsche Main dealer and Specialist history. Of late, each service has been frictionless, needing no additional preventative maintenance as I got on top of it early in my ownership. The owner before me was also a Porsche enthusiast, and automotive engineer, so know perfectly how to warm the car up and how to use it when warm. This means that for the majority of its life, it's been warmed up, driven with respect and then properly as intended on occasion when the road allows. During my tenure I have daily driven it to work and back (20 miles), and it has travelled the length of the UK, and to Croatia and back. The car works perfectly, along with all electrical systems, and air con. All tip-top. Some servicing highlights include: - Full bore score inspection done on the last major service when the plugs were out. All pristine. This was done purely out of curiosity, not because of any oil burning or unwanted noises. - Full oil sample analysis conducted by Miller Oils. All perfect, no noticeable levels of metals in the oil. Meaning no cylinder bore wear to note. - Air con condensers, filter, and lines all replaced - Full brakes all around, pads, discs, lines - OE GT3 brake master cylinder for improved brake feel - Michelin PS4S tyres, all around 3 years old, LOTS of tread left. - Front wheels fully refurbished - Front vents covered by black mesh to avoid early corrosion of rads/air con condensers - New water pump - New low temp thermostat - New started motor - New alternator - New window motors and regulators - New door inner panels to stop water ingress - Complete front suspension overhaul; top mounts, arms, bushes, springs etc... Absolutely no knocks from suspension at either end, nor any leaky shocks - New air-oil separator - New water cross over pipes - New battery - 6 new coil packs Extras: - Cruise control - Heated seats - Short shift gear shifter - Sport exhaust tips If you know your 987 generation Porsche's, this has had lots of the necessary, and expensive work done. Plus, as a daily driver it helps to keep the engine and other components in use, which only helps prolong their life. Few Caymans of this age have been looked after as well as mine. Priced to sell as I'm in the market for a change
