Description

2002 Porsche Boxster 986 2.7L manual. Comes in the the rare and desirable combination of lapis blue exterior and blue alcantara interior. Boxster S 17" wheels. I have used this car daily for 2.5 years and it has never missed a beat, including multiple European driving holidays across Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, France and Monaco. I would trust it to drive me anywhere tomorrow without hesitation. Highlights include: - FSH. 24 stamps! - MOT until February 2026. Number plate is GER15A if you want to look up MOT history. Only recent advisory was for rear brakes wearing low which have been replaced - Number plate will not be sold with the car - 77,600 miles, 18,000 of which have come in the last 2.5 years without issue. These cars often behave much better when used regularly - The IMS bearing has been replaced - Folder full of paper work dating all the way back to the car's registration (18th Jan 2002) - The interior is in extremely good condition, particularly when you consider the car's age - The exterior is in very good condition, but would benefit from a good detail - Pulls really well through the entire rev range and sounds incredible - Comes with 2 keys, original spare wheel and the rare original tool kit - Also comes with the original puncture repair kit and spare engine oil, in Porsche original leather pouches In my ownership I have carried out the following preventative maintenance, treating the car as my pride and joy. When carrying out any work I have ensured that all new nuts and bolts purchased from a specialist were fitted no expense spared: - Full set of suspension arms, track rods, bushes and ball joints front and rear - Full wheel alignment - Pads and discs replaced front and rear - New rear window fitted. This was sewn into the roof, which is the better but more expensive way to do it and retains the OEM appearance. Some people cheap out and have them glued in, which can be prone to falling out in the summer when it gets hot - Front left wheel bearing replaced - Replaced rear tyres (Goodyear Eaglesport F1 all round) - Gearbox oil, engine oil, filters, spark plugs etc all replaced as per manufacturer's recommendations - New/genuine expansion tank cap (old ones are prone to fail) Bad bits: - There is a small dent on the rear boot which I'm confident could be removed for less than 50 quid - A few stone chips on front (can easily be corrected) - Air con isn't super cold but it's never been an issue as either the roof is down or it's winter
