Description
Great condition, always garaged and maintained regardless of cost.
I bought the car from a Porsche enthusiast who was selling it to make space for a classic 911 restoration.
I intended to enhance and enjoy this Evo 5-star car on the kind of roads it was intended to be driven, but with travel commitments at work and a young family, I simply don't find time to use it.
Mechanically excellent - pulls well through all gears, smooth clutch and precise gear shifting. Four matching Bridgestone N rated tyres in good condition.
The paintwork is swirl-free and presents very well. You will find the typical but minor stone chips to the front of the car.
All work in my ownership was completed by Autobahn, including:
- New Brembo front discs and pads
- New OEM rear coil springs
- Annual oil service regardless of trivial milage
- 4 wheel laser tracking
I have priced this as the cheapest sub-80k mile 987 S to reflect the following:
- The alloys present well but, on close inspection, would benefit from repainting due to localised coating peal.
- The previous owner lost the service book but provided a large folder of receipts and spreadsheet of works completed- he clearly understood and cherished the car. All other Porsche manuals are present.
- The spare key has broken in half but the two sides are present.
- The original stereo is present but needs re-coding. I intended to swop for a unit with Apple Car Play functionality.
A modern classic offering a pure driving experience. I would happily drive it to Scotland or into Europe.
