Runs and drives beautifully, the optional uprated coilover suspension (supplied and fitted by Mini) is a huge upgrade over the standard suspension package. If you're looking at a sporty hatchback, this is a very desirable feature. Switchable valved exhaust (another genuine Mini item) provides your choice of sporty soundtracks in subtle or less subtle formats. Truly a joy to use, the audible feedback when enjoying the back roads is a significant bonus and was sadly not available on the later cars. Always parked carefully and as a result has zero trolley dents or door dings. The bodywork is as straight as it left the factory and premium car care products have ensured that it gleams and turns heads wherever it goes. 17" multispoke alloy wheels in bronze show off the huge JCW brembo brakes and complement the black and red paintwork beautifully. Interior shows virtually no wear and the carpets are kept that way by a set of custom made luxury grey/black hounds tooth thick wool floor mats, including boot floor. This is probably one the sportiest JCWs you'll find on here, not weighed down by unnecessary and heavy extras like a glass roof, electric motors on absolutely everything, or a widescreen TV in the middle of the dashboard. Its electrically operated folding mirrors (which can be operated off the key remote) are handy though. Oil and filter service with new battery in the last month. New brakes all around in the last year. This stunning little JCW is ready to go and needs absolutely nothing. I'm sorry to see it go but it's only seeing a few hundred miles a month now, so time to let it go to its next proud keeper.
