Description

In excellent condition, this car has never failed an mot and only once had advisorys which were exhaust and one tyre, these issues were sorted with a new genuine Mercedes exhaust and four new tyres. I purchased this car back in 2018 it was meant to be a runaround until my other car had been repaired, however after a few days of driving it I decided to keep it and sell my other car. Whilst it has been in my ownership I have had lots of extras added, a paddleshift steering wheel was fitted which really adds to the fun of driving this little car. The engine coolant has been changed, brake fluid changed, (gearbox oil) changed, it wasn't necessary but something I wanted doing, there are bump stops fitted to the front springs, this stops the car from allowing the the springs to completely compress which can result in a cracked windscreen should you hit a deep pothole. New bottom engine mount fitted with Powerflex bushes, this really makes a difference when pulling away, stops the engine from twisting on the mounts. I had new Brembo brake pads fitted, more to stop the brake dust. Both front droplinks have been replaced. The interior has had new seats with replacement covers fitted, the old seats were very uncomfortable. There is an Extrons 9" head unit which has wireless android auto and Apple carplay, there are a total of eight Pioneer speakers fitted, two of which are rear tweeters, a hd reversing camera has been fitted plus reversing sensors, very useful when parking in a tight space. The original floor carpets are still in place with original smart mats, I had the checkered custom made matting fitted to match the seats which can easily be removed if required. The car has been serviced every year using Shell Helix oil, the clutch has been relearned at time of every service, this is very important to keep the clutch in good working order. I have only ever used Shell Vplus petrol, keeps the engine clean and running well. There are two keys and alarm fobs there is also some Mercedes service history plus full documentation of every service carried out plus loads of receipts If you haven't owned a Smart fortwo the gearbox is a manual type but fitted with actuators so there is no clutch pedal, you have a choice at a push of a button to either drive it in full automatic mode or change to paddleshift through the gears. The only one negative is that the aircon stopped working shortly after purchase I never bothered getting it looked at as I prefer having windows down
