Description
Time has come and my beloved Audi S5 4.2 is up for sale. Selling because it was never meant to be a daily driver but weekend hobby and long distance fast GT cruiser for travels in Europe, which it was. But circumstances now changed and I have to let go. I'll have to dig out some receipts but a lot of work and effort was put into this car over the nearly 3 years I own it. I'm only just a second owner, this car has been a dealership show off for larger portion of its first half of life. It is quiet inside while cruising but also produces ever so exciting roar of V8 engine when you put the foot down. Front resonators were removed and KN filter instaled, car is sitting on new Eibach sport springs 15mm lower, which on 20" wheels look awesome and car usualy gets attention wherever it goes. As for long distance travel it has been upgraded with 12" Carplay/Android auto display, fully integrated and all original controls working. RS5 steering wheel fitted, oil changed every 5-6000 miles, used liqui moly + ceratec, engine is tight as nut, one of the quitest engines in S5 I've heard, has been carbon cleaned inlets and outlets, oil filter housing resealed, new full rubber street density engine mounts from Motorsport034 fitted, lower wishbone bushes and ball joints replaced, rear shockers with mounts replaced, auxiliary belt + tensioner replaced, new passenger door window mechanism, new door sensors for keyless entry. Car has some unique and rare features for its year, as one of few at the time had a side assist for blind spot indicators in mirrors and a lane assistant.
As already mentioned above also has a keyless entry so keys in a pocket and start button on tunel. I'd like to find a good owner for this car. I won't sell to anyone too young without experience, this car is for those who want to enjoy characteristics of naturaly aspirated V8 engine with linear power delivery and revs going over 7k/min. If you're after fast hot car this ain't it, although in right hands it is trully quick and shines around corners and so far hasn't been embarrassed if challenged on lights.
Bad bits - wheels would do with refurb, although not that bad, being cleaned often, but one or more wheels is slightly bent which shows as shaking at speeds around 70mph, other then that it is perfectly smooth. It has got new Dunlop GT sport tyres alround. It seems new oil cooler is needed, a have cooler and new gaskets but cant find time to do it. Any questions please send a message. Serious only
