This 80 is in concours condition, zero rust. Very difficult to find one as good as this, in such original condition. This one is just a bit special; it has really incredible character. Under my ownership, the car has been subject to a comprehensive overhaul and upgrade. The base of the car was excellent, but the previous owner had decided to paint the bumpers and mudguards white, and adorn the sidesteps with LED running lights. I have invested a huge amount of time to make this car near perfect, and as original as possible. It has an upgraded stainless steel exhaust, which gives it a bit more power and a wonderful noise. It drives magnificently, with stiffer King Springs. The following work has been done in the last 12 months, ONLY USING TOYOTA ORIGINAL PARTS. Anyone with experience of buying parts for these cars, knows how expensive and difficult they are to obtain, mostly direct from Japan:- New original Toyota sidesteps and plastic noses. New mudguards. New front and rear bumpers. Thorough clean, inside and outside. I have the third row of seats, but they are removed and safely stored, for more loading space. New timing belt & pulleys, new water pump. New towbar and electrics. New aircon and fan belts. Aircon re-gassed (July 2025). Brake fluid changed. Coolant drained, flushed with cleaner and refilled with Toyota red. New passenger door lock. New handbrake cable. New fuel filler cap. All three differentials drained and re-oiled. Gearbox oil drained and re-oiled. Front steering joint gaskets replaced. New front and rear wheel bearings. Engine oil changed, new oil filter. New air filter. New diesel fuel filter. New spare wheel hanger chain. Four new black steel 21mm offset wheels. Five new BF Goodrich 275/70 R16 All terrains (July 2025) Front driver electric seat motor overhauled. New front and rear washer nozzles. New front and rear windscreen glass gaskets. New rear Toyota decals. New front grille. Complete LED upgrade inside and outside. Differential locks checked and overhauled. New CDL button. New front and rear windscreen wiper arms and blades. New original leather gear knobs. Leather seats cleaned and fed with specialist cream. New electric aerial. Upgraded Pioneer flatscreen 2-din stereo with Bluetooth and USB cable access. All silentblocks checked and some replaced. Brakes cleaned and overhauled, new brake pads. The car is at my workshop in South West France. Currently on SORN. Nearest airports Toulouse or Tarbes/Lourdes Pyrenees.
