Genuine Reason for Sale: I had planned to keep this extremely reliable and frugal estate car, but I recently purchased a van from work, and I no longer have enough room on the drive and my two dogs love the van. Condition: The Fabia has been very well looked after, with a recent major service completed meticulously. It features a new AGM battery, a new oil cooler, and four new all-weather tyres, all with proper alignment. I have spent +1000 this year with the OCD kicking in Purchase History: I bought this vehicle from a dealership in London in 23. At that time, there were very few low-mileage, good examples available, so I traveled to secure this one. The dealership confirmed that they had carried out an oil and filter change prior to my purchase. Cat N: In August 24, the car was classified as Category N due to a minor bump at a roundabout, which caused some paint to flake in a small area. The other party was uninsured and uncooperative, leading me to go through my insurance. Unfortunately, this resulted in the car being written off, which was surprising given the minor damage. I regret claiming as it led to a financial loss when settling my close brother's finance. After this incident, I decided to keep the car, give it some TLC, and run it into the ground. My Ownership 14th February 2025 New AGM Stop/Start Battery**: Installed with Battery Management System (BMS) coded to recognize the new battery. 4th March 2025 Major Service - Performed Liqui Moly Pro Line engine flush; idled for 20 minutes at operating temperature before draining. - Added Motul radiator professional additive; idled at operating temperature, drained, hosed out the radiator, refilled with water, ran to operating temperature, drained, and refilled with 5-year compatible radiator fluid. - Replaced engine oil with Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 advanced fully synthetic oil (designed to protect the diesel particulate filter). - Replaced oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, and cabin filter with MAN brand filters. 6th March 2025 Repair Work - Replaced faulty oil cooler (a common issue with VAG vehicles due to seal failure leading to coolant loss) with a Nissens oil cooler. - Cleaned throttle body while the mobile mechanic changed the oil cooler. 14th May 2025 - x4 new all weather tyres and full wheel alignment
