Mercedes CLK55 AMG - 2000 The time has finally come to sell my beloved car, it has been a joy to drive as my daily for the last 19 years covering 98K miles in that time and now on 185K. - Strong handmade 5.5L V8 AMG engine - naturally aspirated - Drives and handles as it should - Accelerates with ease - Silky smooth gearbox - Mechanically sound - full service history - AMG bodykit and exhaust - Genuine 18" monoblock alloys - plenty of tread on tyres - Very tidy interior, 2 tone blue and black leather with no rips - Command sat-nav with CD changer in the boot - Complete with all important cup-holder and classic Nokia mobile in armrest Now the bad bits, back in 2019 the car was in a minor accident, crumpling the front passenger wing (final picture), nothing structural. Due to the age of the car the insurers wrote the car off, I put a new wing and got it back on the road. As you know these cars suffer with rust so the car recently failed it's MOT as the sills need welding. The arches could do with being replaced (the one I did isn't too bad) and alloys refurbished as a project to bring the car back to its former glory.
