Nissan X Trail Tekna 2.0 dCi - 2012 This has been my dependable commuting car for the past 4 years, taking me all over the country and into Europe. I've done around 72,000 miles in the car in that time and would estimate around 80% of that is motorway/dual carriageway driving. Never had any major mechanical issues with it, only small wear and tear items as listed below to be expected with the mileage. This is the Tekna model so top of the range with; - Full Leather Electric and Heated seats. - Bose Stereo - Cruise control - Air conditioning (compressor clutch replaced recently) - Full panoramic sun roof - Locking differentials and hill descent. - Tow bar - Reversing Camera - Auto Headlights and Wipers Selling as I am driving vans and other car too often that this doesn't get driven very much anymore and it's a shame to see it not in use. - 145,000 miles - 3 Months MOT remaining - 4 x Hankook Ventus Prime tyres, fronts are only 5 months old with over 5mm tread. Tears are around a year old still with 4mm+ so plenty of life. - New front Discs and pads in April 2025 (900 miles ago) - New drivers side front driveshaft in April 2025 - New Air Con compressor clutch March 2025 - New front wheel bearings both sides Mar 2025 - New drivers side drive shaft Mar 2025 - New passenger side outer CV joint (see below) Mar 2025 Bad points: - could do with a new inner CV joint on the passenger side. The car is still perfectly usable as it is The outer has been done but the inner has started to wear. From experience with the driver's side it is quicker, cheaper and easier to replace the whole drive shaft. A 40 minute job from start to finish if you have the tools. - There is a crack in the windscreen which needs addressing (pictures) before next MOT. - Strange damage to lower window trims on all 4 doors that appeared after a hail storm. A new set of trims can be had off eBay if you wish. Although it never bothered me as it doesn't affect the seal onto the window. - Some of the paintwork isn't great and has been like this since I bought it, luckily none of it has got any worse in my ownership.
