Description
This is a reluctant sale due to a change in workplace location, and the car has served my partner and I admirably over the past few months of our ownership.
The electric powered Smart ForFour is simply the perfect runabout. It is small, manoeuvrable and shockingly practical for it's form factor. Moreover, it's surprisingly fun thanks to it's low weight and rear engine/rear wheel drive setup, giving it that 'go-kart' driving style when you want it.
Key things to note:
- Average range from our experience = 65-93 miles depending on the temperature and whether "ECO" mode is used.
- On car range estimates have proven to be accurate.
- The car is just as comfortable at 20-30mph around town as it is at 50mph on a dual carriageway.
- All four wheels are scuffed to varying extents. This was done by the previous owner, but given the town/city primary usage of the car, this does have the consolation effect of making you worry less about bumping a curb getting into a tight parking spot or regular on-street parking.
- The centre armrest is broken. We only discovered this after purchasing from the previous owner, and did intend to fix it, however we ended up simply leaving it in the upright position which lead to us forgetting it was even an issue.
Thanks for looking and please ask any questions that come to mind.
