Description
Stunning MG TF bought from well known MG TF dealer Trophy Cars. The car is in wonderful condition throughout and the only reason I am selling is that I have just bought another car and can't warrant keeping both.
The car is a MY 2005 model meaning that it has the revised softer suspension fitted as standard (much needed if you have driven one without!) and also the heated glass rear screen which saves you having to unzip the back each time you put the top down!
The car has been serviced and maintained meticulously as can be seen from it's service history below (service book present and stamped):
3,363 miles - 04/06/08 - Evans Halshaw Vauxhall, Portsmouth
8,051 miles - 22/02/10 - Kwik Fit, Portchester
13,682 miles - 14/02/12 - Kwik Fit, Portchester
19,095 - 16/05/15 - Trophy Cars, Peterborough
20,344 - 12/05/17 - Park Road Motors, Northants
21,970 - 16/07/20 - Taylor's Service Centre, Great Dunmow
23,080 - 24/06/22 - - Taylor's Service Centre, Great Dunmow
23,537 - 28/06/23 - - Taylor's Service Centre, Great Dunmow
24,582 - 02/05/25 - Direct Tyre Service, Otley
When the car was purchased from Trophy Cars it was fitted with a new triple-layer head gasket, new water pump and new cambelt along with undergoing all the usual preparation of their cars. The water pump and cambelt were also replaced again in 2022 for peace of mind! My garage has just fitted a new front suspension ball joint along with a set of rear Toyo tyres.
The underneath of the car has been completely waxoiled to protect it.
The car has just been serviced and freshly MOT'd. The MOT is valid until 1 May 2026 so the car is now set for its new owner to enjoy!
The car comes complete with 2 keys, original owners handbooks and wallet and a large history file. The original MG Rover pre-delivery inspection check sheet is also still present!
This is one of the last ever British made MG TF's produced just before MG Rover's collapse in April 2005 but not registered until 2006. This is most likely one of the last ever registered British MG Rovers!
You will struggle to find a better MG TF and if you were buying one direct from Trophy Cars you would be paying 7,000+ so this represents a great buy for someone!
