Jaguar XKR Convertible 100 Limited Edition (1 of 160). Very rare and in excellent original condition. Owned by a genuine enthusiast with meticulous attention to detail. This commemorative XKR 100 embody traditions that Sir William Lyons himself established for the company right from its earliest days - a combination of performance, luxury and style that is unique to Jaguar. The XKR100 brought these traditions fully up-to-date. Introduced in 2001 to celebrate Sir William Lyon's 100th anniversary, this specially designed XKR is part of a 500 Limited Edition worldwide, split between coupe and convertible, with the majority being released in the US (160 being released in the UK). The 100 badge sits pride of place on the bonnet. It has a supercharged 4. 0 litre V8 engine which delivers 370bhp and a top speed of 155mph (limited) through a five speed automatic transmission. This, supported by "Anthracite" paintwork, an array of luxuries such as leather Recaro front seats, smoked maple veneer, aluminium trim (including the pedals), DVD satellite navigation, an R-Performance steering wheel, up-rated sound system, rain sensor wipers. To finish off, CATS (Computer Active Technology Suspension) were also fitted as standard to all the models and the car was fitted with enormous 20" R-Performance nine-spoke "Montreal" BBS alloys, Brembo brakes and Jaguar "Growler" wheel-centres to add to its very unique sporting presence. In 2023 this vehicle was valued by the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club of Great Britain at 28K. Since ownership it has had the underbody chassis professionally striped, prepared and rust proofed by South West Rust Proofing in Westbury with their Dinitrol process which was fully documented by them for future inspection. The work totalled 4,000 and was completed in November 2021. It also rides on new factory specified Dunlop SP Sport Max tyres all around to match the original specification. The original BBS Alloys have been fully refurbished to a high standard by Pro Alloys of Melksham. XKR100 decals were also added. There are specially made floor mats with XKR100 embroidered and the registration plate also carries this wording. It is fully serviced and comes with a fresh MOT January 2025 by Mike Allen Jaguar Specialists, who have looked after the vehicle since purchase in 2021.
