We are selling our much loved Ford B-Max. Reason for sale is that the Gearbox isn't able to select 2nd Gear (All other gears are fine). We've now decided that we need a bigger car. Although the car is a 2013 model, the vehicle has had a Ford workshop replacement engine due to a known ford issue and was replaced on the warranty card in August 2019 (I have the paperwork and you'll see the sticker on the engine in the pictures). The new engine is the updated model and has only completed 48,683 miles and along with the new engine, the previous owner had a new clutch fitted. Car comes with a comprehensive service history and alot of invoices for various work carried out. The car has recently had 2 new front tyres in May 2025 and a service in June 2025, which included Oil, Oil filter, Air Filter, Suspension Arm and front disks and pads. Car also recently had a tow bar fitted along with electrics. (Can include a number plate that we had for a trailer). MOT'd until the 26th September 2025 Excellent car for a family as it has the rear sliding doors. Other known issues: Amber Engine Light (intermittent - I believe this may be a faulty sensor on the exhaust) - Car drives fine Amber Airbag Light (May just need clearing?) A number of age related chips to the paintwork & some deeper scratches on the roof and around the rear bumper (pictured) Annual Road Tax: 35 Although it only being a 1.0 Litre, it's a very nippy car due to it being an ecoboost engine. Car can be driven away (before MOT runs out). Could be a good project for someone with the knowledge to repair/rebuild the gear box or possible a parts car (Engine being the newer model).
