1977 MG Midget 1500 MOT and tax exempt. Very cheap to insure. I have had this car for five years and over that time it has been extremely reliable. Before I owned the car it had the rubber bumpers removed and the car was re sprayed. The suspension was lowered with an MGOC lowering kit to restore it to pre rubber bumper ride height. Over the last 5 years it has only done 5000 miles. During my ownership it has had New front brakes with braided hoses. New clutch slave cylinder. New water pump. Radiator flushed. New water hoses and heater control valve. Carbs were cleaned and rebuilt with a wax-stat conversion by Tipton garage. The engine was set up on their rolling road where it was producing 69hp. The hood is a bit tatty with a rip in one window but I have never really used it as the car has been kept in a garage and only used during good weather. The car comes with a hood cover and full tonneau cover. It does have a few small blisters in the paint around the rear wheel arches and the carpet could be replaced to really make it look better inside.
