1996 VW Golf SE. 1.8 ADZ first registered 03/03/1996. For sale is my 1996 VW Golf SE (first registered 03/03/1996 making it one of the first ever produced as production ran from early March 96 - march 97). Factory fitted sunroof which still works perfectly and is airtight. This has been my daily show car for 5 years and has featured in Beamish car show, as well as having new wings, jacking points and sills in my ownership, and a full respray in LC9Z Black magic pearl (metallic black) same as the OEM Color. This also has the rare genuine BBS RZ's 115/70 R17 which have been 3 layer powder coated metallic silver. These have been wrapped in Davanti Pro-tourer tyres earlier this year. This has been lowered on Stance + coilovers and also benefits from a hand made, CAT-back stainless exhaust system with GTI style tips and a powerflow back box. This also has aftermarket fitted front bumper intakes (replacing the reflectors), de-badged grille and the full VR6 Highline leather interior which is in good condition. I have the original grille and reflectors which will go with the car alongside a lot of other OEM spares including another set of BBS RZ's (115/70 R17, same as currently in the car (not been refurbished) and a set of Hella quad headlights (they need adjusting). This has the 1.8 ADZ fitted, as standard for this generation of SE's, and has been religiously serviced every summer (June/July) with oil and filters. Full service history up until my ownership, at which point I've done all services/repairs myself and kept all receipts for parts I've bought over the years (there'll be a folder or two going with the car as well as a USB with loads of repair/service/photos of the car over the years). Ive only used 10W-40 semi-synthetic oil and G12 coolant for servicing/repairs. Only Bosch's parts have been used when doing repairs unless unavailable, at which point a reputable companies part has then been sourced and fitted. (I have slight OCD) No test drives unless proof of insurance is taken out against this car specifically and proven in person. No exceptions.
