Description
The 1.0 TSI 95PS gives a nice balance — good low-rev torque, so it doesn’t feel sluggish, and you get decent fuel economy especially for a small turbo petrol. WLTP figures are strong. Refinement & build quality VW tends to deliver a car that feels a bit more premium in its class. Solid materials, well-fitted panels, and noise insulation are often praised. It doesn’t feel cheap inside. Safety and driver aids Many safety features are either standard or available: five-star Euro NCAP rating; lane assist; automatic emergency braking; driver fatigue detection; hill start assist; etc. Also “Travel Assist” is standard on Polo Life for 95PS upwards, combining lane assist + adaptive cruise to make motorway driving less stressful. Good equipment level As “Life” trim it comes with features you would expect, and even some that feel above class: digital cockpit / digital instruments; infotainment with App-Connect; USB sockets front and back; heated/adjustable mirrors; LED headlights in some versions; etc. For a supermini it has a respectable sized boot (approx 351 L with all seats up), rear seats reasonably usable, decent space up front, good visibility.
