The condition of this 2010 Mk6 Golf R is excellent. It is mechanically perfect and has a full-service history with services on average below 7k per year, some services as low as 4k. Only ever been used with Super Unleaded and drivers superbly. Very low milage for the year at 79k. This Golf R comes with the R logo stitched into the leather R interior in near perfect condition other than some slight wear on the driver's bolster. It also comes with some rare factory options including 19inch Talladega alloys, VW factory black headlight inserts & it has a manual gearbox. There are also some minor modifications including carbon fibre look interior trim, a Miltek cat back full stainless exhaust system and a stage 1 remap. At 60k I replaced both front wishbones with genuine VW parts because one of the lower ball joint rubbers had a split. At 64k I replaced the diverter valve and PCV breather valve with genuine VW parts as a matter of course and for my peace of mind. There have been no issues with the engine throughout my time with this car. At 70k there was a split exhaust gasket leak on the manifold so while the turbo was removed, I had it sent to a turbo specialist for inspection and it was rebuilt using genuine VW parts. I have photos of the turbo when it was removed and it was in excellent condition with little to no wear. The engine is extremely clean burning with no soot inside the turbo and the impellor bearings had no play whatsoever. Once again, I did this turbo service as a matter of course and for my peace of mind, it was not required and the engine has been completely fault free for the 30k miles I have driven it. The cambelt and ancillaries were replaced at 74k with its last full oil change service. It has recently had a full brake overhaul including Brembo OEM solid vented rear disks and pads and new pads on the front and has also had both anti roll bar drop links replaced with Febi Bilstein parts. There is an age-related paint repair to be made to the front driver's wheel arch, which is showing signs of rust bubbling up and will need to be seen to soon. The rest of the paintwork is in near immaculate condition and has been regularly treated with high temperature wax coating. The car comes with a fresh MOT , Full service history with loads of recipts for work carried out and parts. 2no. Keys It has been an excellent daily driven car and brilliant to travel up and down the country in. I will be sad to see it go but I now need a smaller car.
