Astra 1.7DTI Diesel Estate In blue with roof rack bars. Two keys are included in the sale. Both will start the vehicle. It has a strong Isuzu derived diesel engine and is popular with Astra enthusiasts. I have located the MOT documents back to 2009 along with many service documents etc. Usually serviced every year. Has been a brilliant starter for me, whatever the weather, and drives well. New cam / timing belt in 2024. Had a replacement starter in 2020. I took a photo underneath to check for any leaking fluids but nothing on the block paving - the car has been stood in that location for four days. The car seems good for its age mechanically but it's not showroom fresh, there are cosmetic issues with marks on paintwork and rust on the passenger door. This rust is probably due to a door respray around 2008-ish when my Grandfather owned it. He scratched the left door and wing on a gate hook. The old rusty wing was replaced within the last 2 years from another Astra. Also the fabric roof lining has sagged in places due to glue age. The air con does not work although when I had it re-gassed a few years ago for a holiday, it worked again after a period of not working. I don't normally use aircon so it may have lost gas again. MOT ran out 1st October 2025. I hope someone will give this Astra a good home as it's been brilliant for me and my favourite car to date. In fact I'm missing driving it. Thanks for looking.
