The car was registered in UK with UK specification from new. A very rare car. One of only six cars finished in Woodcote Green for the UK market. All the rest were exported to Japan. Only one thousand nine hundred and eighty three (1983) MG RV8 were produced at approximately fifteen(15) a week and cost over 26000 when new in 1994. All RV8 had the same basic specification. The robust 3.9 litre V8 engine produces 190 bhp and is good for 250,000 miles. Top speed is about 135 mph and 0-60 mph under 6 seconds. The body shell was electrophoretically dipped when in production so there is no risk of corrosion. This is classic motoring with 1990's technology. This car is in exceptional condition and drives as beautifully as she looks and sounds. Being an original UK car there is more legroom than those reimported from Japan. She has a great file of service history and comes with a full tonneau, half tonneau, wind-stop, Thatcham immobiliser, her original tool roll and brand new clean MOT. We will be very sad to see her go but we are getting a bit too old to enjoy her.
