Description
Now a unique offroad camper, it was originally built by a renowned UK Landrover " special Build" conversion company as 10 seater tour bus and as a Public Service Vehicle ( PSV) therefore subj to rigorous weekly/monthly inspections and servicing for its first 10 years . Latterly in my 8 yrs ownership by my specialist Landrover garage.
In its conversion I raised the roof to give 6' + standing height and insulated roof/floors/walls with " Spaceloft" high thermo insulation at 40 pounds per sqm!! . Raised marine ply fully flat floor provides excellent underfloor storage with access from all original 4 doors left in situ enabling new owner to completely change internal layout as required. Really flexible !
Underfloor twin 40 litre water tanks, good centre of gravity and freeze free as " inboard ". Large L shaped seating area with huge storage beneath and which converts to comfy Double Bed , small childs upper bed/Storage area. Excellent cupboard space with tambour door to one, beech work surface and clip on table. Heiki roof light, over cab purpose made roof rack, rear adjustable height tow ball and electrics and rear camera. Rear mounted spare wheel . Engine management upgrade , Stage One , gives smooth acceleration and improved MPG ( on recent 18mth Euro tour I got 31 mpg) .
Glass all round gives fab outside views no matter which way you're forced to park , including 2 feature over cab safari style fixed windows .
I powered internal elecs via portable 2400wh lithium power pack ( not included as gifted to mate !) enabling offgrid via 300 watt Solar Panel ( included).
I designed interior specifically for inside/outside options , so no fitted sinks/taps/shower etc , preferring handheld pumped tap/shower on 4m hose with portable sinks. Twin sep 40 litre tanks only used for fresh water so one could be utilised for grey waste water if req. Loads room for additional tanks under floor or under vehicle if needed . Folding steps give access to living and easy access from living through to driving cab for extra security incase of quick getaway!
2m x 3m side awning. Loads tread on Goodyear All Terrain tyres (5) . Vehicle well travelled and proven capability offroad and so has battle scars to evidence ! Polishes up great ( see photo!) Some easy works also not finished eg inside roof not lined yet after insulation and still loads more potential to create your ultimate rig. MOT May 2026.
