I have had this car for 10 years and it has been such great and reliable fun!. This is a very well looked after car and has passed the MOT with no advisories. New OEM exhaust and catalytic converter from Rimmer Bothers. The cam belt was changed last year and it has been changed twice in my ownership and I am the 4th owner. It is fully serviced with new plugs, air filter, rotor arm, disturber cap, oil, etc. After 10 years, the only reason I am selling it because of lack of use. Since August 22 to date we have only covered 723 miles. Being a classic car enthusiast, I have cherished this car and it runs and drives without fault. It pulls well, and has really good MPG, and you can get CLASSIC CAR insurance on this car. It is Mot'd until June 2026. When I purchased this car I replaced the head gasket (the original was fine but safer safe that sorry) and I fitted a PRT (pressure relief thermostat) to the front of the car next to the radiator which reduces the "dead space" between the radiator and the hot coolant system and the temp gauge has always sat perfectly- it's never over heated and its never lost coolant. I also replaced the internal engine coolant pipes which can corrode and is often over looked. I have fitted an MG TF 'snorkel' cabin air intake which is less leak prone than the original MGF Mk 1 type to leaking- hence wet carpets!. I have replaced many parts over the years to keep this beautiful car in top running form. Here is some of the work that I have done to her: Oil and filter change (02, 2024), cam belt (2023), 4 new tyres (2023), new windscreen (2023), engine bay water pipes, stainless under body radiator to engine coolant pipes, rear callipers replaced along with pads. The front pads replaced. The head lights were 'chromed' by DualTF. The drivers seat replaced as the seat bolster had collapsed (this is caused by kneeling in to unzip the rear window) which is a usual issue. I have fitted later model door cards and they have the same material as the seats. The stamped service history book goes up to 24/07/07 to a milage of 57,984. I have bills from the previous owner, along with the bills that I also have. It was dry stored and off the road at 68,288 miles. The body work is clean, straight and is lovely condition A very well looked after car. I have a folder with bills and photo's to support.
