Lovely XJ 351 Portfolio, Has pretty much full service history, Mostly genuine Jag dealerships then went to Jag indie specialists through it's life. Bad bits: I broke down on the m6 as the Thermostat housing broke, dumped all the coolant then overheated. Recovered to my house then had the thermostat housing replaced with a upgraded metal aluminium one. After this I started the car and unfortunately the bottom of the engine is "knocking", it still starts & drives, just makes a knocking noise. This has had a second opinion by a mobile Jaguar specialist and is diagnosed as "bottom end knocking." Has been sat for a little while, wheels could do with a refurb. Rear parking camera sometimes does not work, Sunroof makes slight noise as has come off rails but still works fine. Front tyres are on the limit. Possible front suspension Issue. Good Bits: Top spec portfolio, Carbon fibre trim, Genuine Jaguar XJ-R Supersport Alloys (worth 2k alone.) Very good service history & documentation. Recently had Engine work - New Aluminium thermostat housing, New reservoir and coolant. LH Inlet manifold replacement due to restricted performance (common problem and a lot to replace) New rear tyres. recent full service less than 500 miles ago. Due to life circumstances I am unable to fix this car, as much as I would like to so I have bought a cheap run-around. Genuine reluctant sale. May need a trailer to tow this away if uncomfortable driving with current issues.
