This is one of 7 remaining cars in my collection and I was using it as a weekend classic. She is in wonderful condition throughout. You would struggle to find another in as good a condition as this one. Over the years, I have had over 8 Golf GTI's mostly Mk1's and Mk2's and I am as fond of this one as I have been of the early cars. I have number of super cars in my collection and this get just as much care and attention as they do. She had a service approx. 6 months ago, front discs and pads less than 1500 miles ago and has had lots of vacuum pipes and plastic T-pieces changed due to boost leaks and now runs like new. She pulls really hard and is actually quicker than our Mk6 GTI. This is a late car with the AUQ engine and the factory 180 bhp with a 6 speed manual gearbox. Suspension, gearbox and engine are in fantastic condition and run smooth.
