Just putting a few feelers out as this is a tough sale for me. "Bertie" is a 1972 1300cc VW Beetle in a powder blue colour with dark blue vinyl interior seats. He has been lovingly restored & I have a ring binder full of photos detailing where he started his journey to becoming pristine. He was originally owned by my late father until he decided to hand him over to me in 2015. Bertie is a joy to drive & not slow! We used him mainly during the summer months & always garaged.He has been used for quite a few weddings, as you'll see from some of the photos, so he's always been kept in great condition. As big VW fans, my husband has rebuilt several engines, which was done with this car. His front lights have been fitted with more effective bulbs, so no problems driving at night.Anything he has needed, has been done to the best standard. There are 2 lap belts fitted in the rear. 4 alloy wheels. He will require a re spray in the next year or so (hence the price) & the gearbox needs looking at but my husband hopes to do this if I sell. We recently had it compounded & machine polished, which you can see in some of the photos. Car is MOT & Road Tax exempt. PLEASE only genuine VW enthusiasts.
