This is my Daihatsu Sportrak, not to be confused with the bigger Fourtrak. Increasingly rare and collectable, this one is top of the range ELXi spec, in metallic black with funky 90's graphics, and with desirable extras such as wide Enkei alloys and factory Air Conditioning (a 1,275 option back in 1993!). Amazingly, this Sportrak has never been used off-road and never towed. Instead, driven sparingly by two London owners for over 30 years. The result is low mileage and fantastic original condition. It was given an advisory free MOT issued just 89 miles ago, valid until 31/10/2026. It retains its serious 4x4 capabilities of course. Would be ideal tackling adverse winter conditions. And then in the summer it can be transformed into an open top convertible. Both front sunroof panel and rear hard top are removable and the tailgate glass lifts out. Perfect for adventures to that remote beach, perhaps. There is even a factory fitted rollover bar to rest your surfboard on! K117 MGF has a 1.6 16v petrol engine, 5 speed manual transmission and a transfer shift lever for selecting 2WD high range (RWD only for normal everyday road use), 4WD high range and then 4WD low range for the very toughest of conditions - search Youtube to see what these things can do off-road. Well maintained, 2,000 has been spent on the car in the last year alone; two new General Grabber 225/70/15 tyres, new locking front hubs, new exhaust, work on the coolant system and a major service. It appears to have had three new timing belts over the years - in 1999, 2011, and 2018 (5,000 miles ago).
