Description
A brief history of this vehicle:
It was purchased new (first registration) by my mother who is a 76 year old widow and selling as she has downsized. Her age gives you an idea of the way it has been driven: Low mileage, low speed etc.
She lives on Islay in the western isles of Scotland. (We have relocated the car to south east England for ease of sale). The coastal location means there is some corrosion under the bonnet. This is limited to exposed metal parts. However, the bodywork, paintwork, wheels, interior etc are all in immaculate condition and generally bear the hallmarks of a very under-used vehicle! The price has been set lower than market value in view of this.
There are no scratches on wheels, no stone chips as it has rarely been driven on a motorway.
As a preventative measure, the underbody and chassis components were treated at the time of purchase with a dedicated anti-corrosion coating designed to inhibit moisture and salt exposure. This treatment was applied proactively, prior to any corrosion being present, to provide an additional protective barrier to the underside, suspension mounting points, and associated structural elements. The coating remains in place as part of normal long-term corrosion management appropriate for vehicles used in coastal conditions.
The parcel shelf is missing as my mum did a run to the tip one day and threw it out in error!
