2009 (59) Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi N-Tec - Spares or Repair Selling my 59 reg Nissan Qashqai as a spares or repair / project car or parts vehicle due to an intermittent engine issue. I have bought a new car so do not want to spend time diagnosing it. Issue: From a cold start the car sometimes will get stuck at 2,500rpm before carrying on, this will also happen when driving with the accelerator fully depressed at speed. Other times it revs and drives normally. No unusual noises or warning lights currently displayed. Likely limp mode related, could be a simple fix or something more expensive, dpf, turbo etc. The car starts, runs and drives and has been used on short trips around York in recent weeks without serious issue. Good points: MOT and tax valid until February Owned for 2 years, covered approx 24k miles with no major issues New battery fitted November Over half a tank of diesel, around 45 pounds worth N-Tec spec including panoramic glass roof and reversing camera Bad points: Damage to driver's side doors and boot needs respray and replacement. Scrape on front bumper. Needs tailgate boot strip, common Qashqai issue. Other age related marks. Bluetooth system requires pairing code after battery change Important: No proper test drives, only around my cul de sac. Buyer to arrange towing or trailer collection after payment at their own cost, would advise coming with one if serious buyer. Ideal for someone with diagnostics knowledge or for parts. Priced accordingly for a quick sale. As with all second-hand vehicles, this car is sold as seen, with no warranty or returns, and is explicitly for spares or repair. Update: I have had calls from people saying they will drive it back to Doncaster, Bradford, to repeat.. Please do not call if you are not intending to tow it away as I won't let you drive off in it(so i have a clear conscience). I have been offered 275 for scrap so please don't get in touch if you intend to offer below that.
