Rover Mini Sprite 1275cc Automatic 1994 . This is a lovely Mini that came to me a few years ago from my Aunt. My Aunt always drove a Mini and this is the last one she ever bought. Her husband, a former Managing Director of Alfa Romeo UK, had the sun roof professionally fitted in an Alfa Romeo garage, so you know it was done right. It is one of the last Minis to be fitted with a carburettor before Rover moved onto Single & Multi Point Fuel Injection (SPI, MPI). Runs on unleaded petrol, however do not exceed E5 (5% ethanol). I use 97/99 octane unleaded E5 petrol. Mileage: 29494 from new, so now averaging less than 1000 miles per year. I had it professionally recommissioned, invoice available, and drove it a few times during the summer of 2019 for pleasure on a couple of bright sunny days. It has been on a SORN since 2020 due to the COVID-19 restrictions; however, it has been run on a weekly basis and manoeuvred in and out of my garage. Starts easily, second turn of the key, and for its age is in very good condition. There are a couple of patches of surface rust where the paint has bubbled, which my husband has treated with Fertan rust killer since being in my possession, see photos. Completely honest, never been in an accident, or damaged, and of a nice specification. Always kept in a garage and for the last five years in a humidity controlled environment too. AA/RAC inspection welcome, but please remember that it is SORN, so an on road test drive is not possible. Priced fairly to sell to someone who will enjoy it for the next 30 years.
