Description
A true beast of a machine- a spacious, comfortable, powerful motorway mile-muncher.
With an extensive service history and a clean MOT until October '26, this E350 has been well looked after not only outside and inside but under the bonnet too.
I bought it back in October 2025 with the intention to solely use it to help move a family member down country and shift some other oversized bits and pieces from my own house move, however having eaten up the miles doing what it was intended too do, I've also used it to commute to work and the other usual day to day activities. It is safe to say, it hasn't had a particularly hard life!
Yes, it is a large, heavy, diesel - something that doesn't seem to be too popular as of late, however it has never failed me. As mentioned, it has clocked up plenty of motorway miles and even as a 3.0l V6, I've had no issues getting it to achieve in the region of 40mpg. Put your foot down and the G-Tronic gearbox will drop down a cog and it will shift, but set the cruise control and it'll glide along with just the radio as noise, leaving you in comfort.
There are the odd age-related marks on the alloys and bodywork but nothing major! Just what you would no doubt expect from a vehicle that is nearly 16 years old. Inside is just as tidy. The leather is all intact as is the carpet with each footwell having its own carpeted matt also. The heated seats make for an added bonus for any chilly morning! As for the electrically operated boot, you wouldn't think it hadn't even been used. It unfortunately doesn't have the sought-after hidden seats, but it does have the usual spare wheel, jack, warning triangle and first aid kit. And a pop-up dog guard - a feature that I'm sure no one asked for but many find convenient!
Boots: it has 4 Davanti tyres fitted, all of which have plenty of tread as shown in the photos. I had the front nearside replaced only a matter of weeks ago owing to a slow puncture, like for like.
All in all, this E350 is one cracker of a machine. It's a pleasure to drive and has no issue with whatever challenge I've thrown at it. If I could justify keeping it, I certainly would. It'll be a shame to see it go but it is currently just surplus to requirements. I'm sure it'll just keep going for many years to come.
