Description

Rare RSP Model - British Racing Green This is not just any Mini - it's a Rover Mini Cooper RSP (Rover Special Production). These are rare, sought-after, and fast becoming collector's cars. Only around 1, 650 were ever produced, making this a highly desirable model. Vehicle History: Dry stored in a heated garage for 20 years before being recommissioned in 2023. Full service history, with the most recent service in April 2025. Comes with all the original dealer-supplied books. 2 sets of keys. V5C present and in my name. Period-correct Rover tape deck that suits the year of the car. Sunroof. Twin exhaust. Spare wheel included. Recent Work (2023-2025): Over the past two years, I've invested heavily to ensure this Mini is not just a showpiece but a reliable daily runner. Highlights include: Replacement of broken wheel studs. New rear brake discs & pads, corrected fluid leaks, and ball joints refitted properly. Tracking reset and timing/ mixtures adjusted. 4 new chrome nuts, Cooper S wheel studs, and various seals/ gaskets replaced. Service & MOT (March 2024) including: 5 litres of Motul oil, new oil filter, fuel filter, 4 NGK spark plugs. Replacement wiper/ washer components. April 2025 service (Fairways Garage): Oil & filter change. New spark plug set. Re-tensioned auxiliary belt. New fuel pipe & overflow pipe. Ball joint replacement. New sump plug and seal (sump re-tapped). Antifreeze top-up, new hose clip, carburettor dash pot service. Repositioned handbrake cable & steering wheel alignment. Underside re-undersealed. This Mini has had no expense spared, with all invoices to prove. Condition: Starts first time, drives perfectly - I recently did a 300-mile round trip with zero issues. No rust visible, very solid paintwork and finish. Interior all original: half-leather seats and Cooper steering wheel intact. Tyres have plenty of tread. Mechanically sound and ready to be enjoyed - requires no further work whatsoever. Lots of torque and a joy to drive. I've loved owning this Mini and put a lot of effort into making sure it's not just rare, but reliable. It's a real head-turner, and as an RSP, it's only going to become more collectible with time. Well worth a look for anyone seeking a genuine, solid, and rare RSP Mini Cooper. You'll love this Mini because it's a rare RSP, completely solid, starts first time, and is an absolute joy.
