Description
Reluctant sale of my Honda Accord 2.2DTi Executive. Only 2 owners from new (including me). MOT until 20th January 2027. I've owned the car since August 2015 and in that time it has never let me down - not once. Serviced every year and it has never failed an MOT. It has served me and my family faultlessly for over 10yrs, but now it needs to carry on that service for a new owner as I just don't drive it enough.
These Honda diesel engines are renowned for their reliability and fuel economy (40mpg urban). Super low mileage for a 22yr old car. It's done barely any miles since my new car arrived in Feb 2025 - I should have sold it then but couldn't bring myself to do it.
The CDTi Executive model comes with a luxury spec including: Electric windows, electric slide/tilt sunroof, heated front seats, leather all round, electric heated mirrors, central locking, factory immobiliser/alarm, cruise control.
Original owners manual and service book. Folder full of MOT certs and servicing receipts. Brand new battery fitted. 2 keys. Loads of tread on all the tyres.
This car has been well looked after throughout my ownership, but there are a few issues to be aware of. First, the aircon doesn't work (I had a new AC Compressor fitted and regas, to find that the AC Condenser may need replacing - which I haven't done). There is a bit of rust on both rear wheel arches that will need sorting (see photos). The new battery is playing up. It's under warranty so will be swapped for a brand new one before it goes to a new owner. There is a screw in one of the front tyres causing a slow puncture. Both fronts are pretty new and have loads of tread left, so if I were keeping it, I'd be driving it as is. It's had a couple of advisories on its MOT the past 2yrs (the same 2) which will need sorting at some point. Bear in mind, as it only did about 500 miles in 2025, the same MOT advisories are present 2yrs running. For the same reason I didn't service it in Jan 2026 when I got it MOT'd. That's it. Absolute bargain - priced to sell.
