Description
I acquired my 911 (996) Turbo manual from specialist RPR626 on 6th December 2014. It is in launch silver metallic with black leather interior. 2002 model with glovebox, BOSE stereo and rain sensing wipers. In addition to the standard spec it also has rear parking sensors, sunroof, Sat Nav and phone prep together with factory optioned wood inserts for the steering wheel and gear stick.
Prior to purchase the car had been sold through a Porsche main dealer on the previous three occasions.
I have owned this wonderful car for almost 12 years. It has been garaged for the entirety of my ownership. I bought the car with c.61,000 miles. It is now showing 70,339 miles.
The car had a full Porsche Main Dealer history when I acquired. I carried this on from 2015 - 2019 at Porsche Centre Newcastle. From 2020 to date I have used specialists D&G Porsche, the owners of which worked at Porsche Centre Newcastle.
In my ownership I had the paint fully corrected and ceramic coated. All 4 tyres changed for oem Michelin N rated. All disks and pads changed again with oem Porsche items.
In 2017 at 64,577 miles I had D&G Porsche give the car a full health check. The only significant issue identified were the turbos which sit exposed at the bottom of the engine. I had D&G arrange for both turbos to be sent to Turbo Dynamics to be fully rebuilt and refurbished back to brand new condition at a total cost of 2,194.13.
Other recent maintenance has included front radiators, starter motor, front suspension bottom and trailing arm replacement both sides. Collectively around 2,700.
This car has been fastidiously maintained during my ownership. However, it is 24 years old and therefore even with the best care does show minor signs of age. It is a completely standard and original car. The only two areas I would draw attention to would be: 1: The steering wheel wood insert is cracking on the top rear of the wheel. This was in this condition when I acquired and is not noticeable when in the car. 2: The rear spoiler. The common issue with these is an error on the dash when it deploys at 75mph. Has been showing for the last few years but the spoiler operates as intended without any visual or mechanical fault.
I trust the detail in this advert is testament to this wonderful car being sourced correctly and subsequently pampered under my 12 year stewardship.
