Description
2017 (67) Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG - For Sale
Full service history. MOT until March 2027.
The car is a fantastic example and comes with a great specification.
20" Riveria RF108 wheels fitted in September 2024 with Nankang tyres which have loads of tread. When I bought the car the company fitted a front spoiler and side skirts, which really enhance the overall look it's a great-looking car and definitely stands out.
Spent quite a bit of money on the car recently including new Mercedes brake discs and pads (calipers are huge so not an inexpensive job).
As you'd expect for a car of this age, the car does have some marks and scratches on the car - nothing major - main marks are on the front spoiler and the rear bumper has a scratch.
Since the most recent service, the dashboard is now showing "Service A overdue by 14,800 miles." This is incorrect, as the service was carried out as scheduled I have all receipts to prove this. Apparently a garage can reset this relatively easy enough.
The only other issue with the car to note is a more recent one after the car had been sitting unused and following the more recent battery charge alert. Occasionally, when driven regularly, the car can stall - roughly once or twice a week if driven daily. It appears similar to when the stop/start system activates, but instead of restarting smoothly, the engine cuts out and needs to be restarted manually using the button. It then runs perfectly again and the issue doesn't reoccur for some time.
I have not experienced this issue when the stop/start function is turned off, so it may be related.
On the service I asked for this to be looked at, they noted the idle is very slightly uneven, although not indicative of a serious fault. They commented that it is almost like a mis-fire but were adamant they do not think it is - in fact seemed convinced that it wasn't a mis-fire.
They suggested the first step would be to replace the spark plugs (although this should have been done when I had the car serviced in 2025), followed by checking the ignition coils if needed. They also mentioned it could potentially be a timing-related issue.
I've decided not to pursue this further due to it delaying me selling the car and/or incurring costs to find the issue but I feel I've reflected this in the price.
Aside from this, the car runs, drives, and stops exactly as it should.
I've tried to be as honest and transparent as possible happy to answer any questions.
