2003 VW Beetle 1.6 petrol hatchback Mot until: 8/3/2027 Mileage: 137,511 Ulez exempt 5 owners including us for the past 10 years! Lovely reliable little car but a new car has forced the sale. Perfect first car or cheap runaround. Comes with around 70 of petrol in the tank. It's 23 years old so has a couple of issues, which are: The cooling fan system has an issue with either the fan control module or a relay which means the fans do not shut off. We have taken the fuse out and have never had an issue with it overheating but don't leave it sat running for long just in case. It tends not to unlock with the key button so is done manually, meaning the key must be put in the ignition to disable the alarm. Hasn't bothered us enough to have it sorted. The head liner has come apart so droops but doesn't affect using the car. This could easily be sorted with a bit of spray adhesive or a new liner but again it hasn't worried us.
