Rover Mini 1991 998cc Black 93130 miles General information. I have owned the car for the past 20 years. It has not been on the road since 2007.In fact between 2007 and 2026 it has only covered 450. miles. It has been garaged all the time. Unfortunately, due to ill health I have not been able to use it. It's just sat in the garage. I have hundreds of phots showing all of the repairs etc. It started life as a Studio 2, however you will see it's not now. I have carried our extensive repairs not only to the body but the mechanicals as well. The car is a standard 998, however it has a stage one exhaust complete with manifold, heated inlet manifold, pancake air filter. The head has been changed, and I ported and polished the inlet and exhaust outlets. It has 12" mini lite wheels fitted with Yokohama A 539 Tyres. The wheels need to be refurbished. I have altered the front slightly by de-seaming it (so no bumper), lift off bonnet and a bespoke stainless-steel grille. The rear is pretty standard apart from the addition of a second fog light and a dummy petrol cap. Inside needs to be finished. I made the dashboard and door cards from aluminium checker plate. The seats are the original and have definitely seen better days. The car comes with Haynes manual, Haynes Restoration manuals. I have kept the parts removed from the bonnet, ie hinges, bonnet catch. There is also the original head as well. I understand the appearance with the stickers may not be for everybody, but they are just stickers and could be removed. All of the above have been replaced using genuine parts New battery box (pattern part) Passenger door has had the bottom third replaced with a repair panel. Drivers' door has had a complete replacement door skin. Both doors had all of the rust cut out and necessary repairs carried out. Before the skin / repair panel was fitted the inside of the doors have been seam sealed to prevent future corrosion. New headlights complete with bowl and chrome bezels New indicators. Various patch repairs have been completed, all rust cut out and replaced. Mechanicals New radiator. New fuel pump Electronic ignition including new coil and HT leads Rear brake cylinders have been replaced. New fuel sender unit and fuel tank breather pipe. Fitted fuel filter The front callipers have been totally stripped and rebuilt with new
