Description

Audi TT Quattro Sport 240 The body work is very well presented no dents, dings or scuff marks complemented by the interior which is also very good with replacement alcantara coverings on the steering wheel and handbrake. The LED panel is not pixelated (replaced by a prior owner) and there is a phone cradle that was designed for the car and is hardly noticeable when the phone is not present. On everyday items: recent cambelt change, brake pads, new battery, 4 x new Michelin PS5 tyres, service and MoT. The car is ULEZ compliant and has low annual car tax 430; noting that some of the 2006 cars are 735 car tax. What is this car like to drive? As might be expected, with the upgrades listed below, the handling and brakes are a very significant upgrade when compared to a stock Audi TT Quattro Sport 240, it has real turn in bight and on dry roads and really does corner like it's on rails, where the suspension is not so firm as to crash over bumps. My view on the car's performance is that it feels like a 300hp car. I think the Milltek exhaust is fairly noisy, but that's probably because I'm old. Seats No Recaro Pole Position seats. However, don't let the uninformed sway you; unless you are buying for track use only, you don't need them and worse still after 30 miles of driving on UK roads you would wish you didn't have them and had the standard seats as fitted to this car. Test Drive You must If have comprehensive insurance if you want a test drive. The following list of upgrades to this car carried out by APS: Suspension & Brakes - H&R 25mm lowered springs - new set in April 2025 - Poly bushes - R32 anti roll bars - AP Racing 2-piece front discs - Brembo Junior GT brake callipers - 3mm wheel spacers on front wheels Engine, Clutch & Exhaust - Sachs sintered clutch - Single mass lightened flywheel - KKK 26 Turbo (not identical, but similar specification to the Audi RS2's turbo charger) - a big list of stuff, see magazine article image for this car's full engine spec - Milltek Exhaust
