This 2002 VW Golf Cabrio Avantgarde, commonly known as a Mk 3.5, was first registered on 16/09/2002 and has been with the seller since Jan 2005. Kept garaged at home, it has only 65,500 miles on the clock. It has a 2.0 litre petrol engine with a five speed manual transmission. All servicing records and MoTs have been kept. Currently the MoT runs to end of Aug with no advisories recorded. All four tyres hardly used with over 7mm of tread. Cam belt changed at 52,700 and brake pads and discs changed at 57,500. Comes with a DAB-ready radio/CD player. DAB receiver not included. Original radio/cassette player also provided if you want to be really retro. Rust repairs needed but has passed MoT with covering tape. Both front wheel arches are corroded at the bottom edges next to the doors. Also, driver's door is corroded along the bottom edge. Central locking isn't working. It probably needs a new actuator. Doors and boot lock OK with the key. This is a fun car to drive and with a bit of cosmetic project work will look great on the road especially with the sun out and the top down.
