Description
A solid example of an imported MK1 MX5 (Eunos Roadster. Rust has never been mentioned in the MOT history which is pretty much unheard of, and I think the car has potentially never been welded. Has MOT till August, no advisories on the last one.
It is a 1.8 and comes equipped with the LSD, working electric windows and original mats. It has been lowered slightly I believe on coilovers, and it has an aftermarket exhaust that is genuinely a nice sensible volume. It has a fabric roof in very good condition except for a repaired hole in the rear screen.
Having been owned by car enthusiasts who have done their own work, it hasn't got the traditional service history, however there is evidence of two cambelt replacements showing it has been looked after. I've done some little jobs such as replacement aux belts and a new radiator.
It drives very well, pulling very nicely at low and high revs. The brakes might benefit from a fluid flush, and the engine burns a little bit of oil which is common on these. No welding to worry about however, now or in the future.
Although it's showing its age here and there, this is a solid, beautiful example of a Mk1 MX5, that's never let me down and successfully put a smile on my face for my year of ownership. I can guarantee the next owners happiness.
