Description

Selling my beloved MGB GT in blaze Orange. I love this car, its truly great fun and an easy to work on project. I would describe as condition 2/3 for the mech/elec with the body in condition 3/4. Happy to answer any and all queries on the car. Has had over 10000 worth of parts and work carried out in my ownership. including a large package by hpc classics of eastbourne. Will include a custom made cover that was nearly 450 new in the sale, aswell as an electronic distributor i never fitted and other small parts. If i wasnt getting married this car would not be for sale. Its been a great deal of fun for me, but with travelling for work and an upcoming wedding date, its no longer practical for me. Heavily modified, all listed below: - Steve burgess ported and polished cylinder head. - Kent cam shaft 715 (Fast road) - Tourist trophy stainless steel full exhaust system - Sebring body kit (Front and rear valances) - Upgraded front brakes with braided hoses - Stiffer suspension bushings all round. - Facit solid cube fuel pump Also in the time of my ownership: - New master brake cylinder - New copper fuel line. - New fuel tank and downpipe. - New windscreen - Seats re-filled - Engine rebuild - Carb rebuild - New carpet set The bad points: - Body work is generally tatty - Needs an interior deep clean - Outside drivers quarter seal is corroded - Passenger door has corrosion - Bonnet front has corrosion - Body seams have some corrosion. If you are interested in a solid, running and driving project that can be used and improved whilst still looking good when pacing along the country roads, this is a great car
