Description

Here we have my MG ZT 1.8T 160+ , an excellent genuine low mileage example of this British classic sports saloon. In Firefrost Red, looks stunning, and after a while on Sorn and stored, was lovingly returned to the road just a year or so ago. As part of this process, before it's existing MOT, a lot of work was done , at the time for my benefit, but having still hardly used the car I've decided to sell it. Works done included..... New Brake discs and pads all round. FOUR NEW TYRES ! Professional minor welding repair to near side rear cill. Full waxoyl spray to underside and accessible vulnerable areas. New coil spring to offside rear. New headlight bulbs New windscreen and wiper blades New Yuasa 12v battery New locking wheel nuts Full original MG coolant hose kit fitted including thermostat....there was a leak on one fitting but I replaced the whole lot for peace of mind. New original cam and crankshaft sensors. In addition to the above, shortly after I had this, with approximately 45k on the clock, I had a stainless steel back box and rear pipe custom made and fitted, which sounds lovely, not too loud and very similar to the original steel one. Team Heko wind deflectors X4. Also, soon after I took delivery of the car, I noticed a slight clutch slip....under the 12 month warranty I was given, the cat had a BRAND NEW CLUTCH fitted, so only about 8k miles been driven faultlessly on the new clutch. The only negatives I can honestly describe are as follows..... unfortunately, whilst the car was on sorn parked on my parents driveway, another vehicle, most likely a delivery van, must have reversed onto their driveway and collided with the MG.... causing minor front near side wing damage.... an original MG wing, in ORIGINAL Firefrost Red paint, which itself was in great condition, has been fitted, and is a good match to the rest of the car, without being an obvious replacement. The dash lcd display does work, but is pixelated , although I sometimes find it improves after driving. Overall this car is in superb condition for it's age, still gets comments, and looks stunning, interior is in good shape with very minor seat wear, some sagging to headlining, original clarion radio cassette and cd changer, all working, but unfortunately I don't have the cd carrier for this. A genuine car, available for viewing, but no time wasters please as in this condition these are becoming less common. Thank you for looking, you won't be disappointed.
