This has been my company car for nearly a decade and still drives like a dream. Indeed, I have just returned from a 1200-mile round trip to Strasbourg, taking advantage of the car's FREE SUPERCHARGING. This was made possible by the CCS charging compability.
Whilst the car benefits from free supercharging, we have done so sparingly, preferring to charge the car at home and limiting the charge level to 80% in order to maximise battery health. For example, I saw an indicated range of 285 miles (at 100% S.O.C.) on our latest trip, indicating minimal degradation. (The max range indicated when new was 300 miles.)
I collected the car from Tesla Heathrow on 2 September 2016. The car was purchased as a P90DL (L for "Ludicrous") with the agreement that this would be upgraded to the full P100DL spec once the new 100 kWh battery packs were available. This happened in February 2018: the 90 kWh battery pack was removed and a brand-new 100 kWh battery pack installed, with new control electronics, etc.
As part of the P100D upgrade the seats were replaced with the "Next Gen" design - in premium Nappa leather: a beautiful, buttery-smooth design. This makes this a very-unique car, as Tesla switched to faux-leather (plastic) seats in the newer cars which.
The DVLA record for this car is wrong! It was incorrectly registered by Tesla as a "90D", then corrected. After the P100D upgrade we tried to get the DVLA to update their records but they ended up reverting to the original - and wrong - "90D" designation. However, we do have the full Tesla service history including the detailed "P90DL to P100DL Retrofit Upgrade" invoice, should you be in any doubt.
Condition: there are minor stone chips on the bonnet and a few minor scratches. Alloys have some kerbing, nothing too unsightly. All tyres replaced in the past 12 months.
