Description
2009 BMW 320d SE Highline Steptronic Coupe (Euro 5) taken in part exchange. The vehicle has covered 167,000 miles and comes with 1 key.
The MOT history shows a current MOT until 2 March 2027 from a previous test; however, the vehicle was subsequently MOT tested by us on 20 April 2026 at 167,169 miles and failed. The failure was due to a dangerous defect relating to the offside front inner brake pad being less than 1.5mm thick. Please note that the front brake pads have since been replaced; however, the vehicle has not been retested. Major defects recorded were both front position lamps not working. A minor defect was also recorded for the offside rear inner position lamp being partially inoperative.
Advisories noted on the MOT were a deteriorated front registration plate, a nearside rear tyre worn close to the legal limit and worn on the edge, an oil leak that was not considered excessive, and a corroded offside rear coil spring.
Please note there are multiple areas of the vehicle that have had previous paintwork repairs, along with body damage and a cracked rear light as shown in the photographs. We have also been advised that the front halo lights do not work and that the ABS warning light comes on intermittently whilst driving. Please refer to the photographs for further detail regarding the vehicle's condition.
The car starts and drives, the engine runs well and the automatic gearbox selects and changes gears as it should.
Due to the age, mileage, condition and faults listed above, this vehicle is being sold strictly as spares or repairs with no warranty given or implied. Viewing is recommended and all buyers should satisfy themselves as to the condition of the vehicle before purchase.
