For sale my lexus 1998 ls400 dhp I bought this car 5 years ago in 2021 with a 112.300 miles on the clock from the previous owner who had done everything maintainance wise to it , timing belt ,water pump, tensioner , being the main one , oil & filter in the autotransmission., all fluids ,plugs new radiator ,antifreeze , got the parts list and labour charge for doing it all , condition inside and out and underneath excellent for a 29 year old car no rust ,I,ve ran this as a second car hence covering less than 1500 miles a year , still it has had amsoil 5/30 signature series oil & filter every year & air filter, amsoil in the autotransmission and in the diff. This car has been looked after, in the five years I,ve owned it I,ve replaced the alternator with new denso unit,, had two rear brake pipes done and this year a new rear coil spring that's all I,ve had to do in five years , these cars were put together well, still drives lovely, it's got dare 18inch wheels on it , and a y -pipe from the centre silencer through to two cherry bombs out of the back sounds lovely I had the y pipe replaced in stainless steel last year and two new cherry bombs fitted , as the previous owner done it in mild steel. This car doesn't leak ,burn or use any thing .theres one thing that doesn't work and that is the ariel mast doesn't extend or retract got a few teeth missing on the belt on the mast ,common on a 29 year old ls 400 ike it when I bought car , pattern part 30 pound if you like your radio, not bothered me as I play my music from my phone via a cassette adapter.. These are a rare sight on the roads today and getting rarer , especially ones like mine , no maintainance outstanding its the 1998 dhp which are the sought after model to have , , the dhp was a uprade from the factory back then, which meant the shocks and springs were slightly firmer and lowered 10mm all round sits on the road better , thicker front and rear anti roll bars for better handling I.e Less roll., having said that this is not a sports car,, its a premium luxury cruiser , but it shifts along when you need it too, and does it effortlessly. I,ve enjoyed owning it and every moment I,ve driven it.
